Outstanding deep Pink Sapphire.
This is an absolutely beautiful, 100% natural, unheated, untreated 1.20 ct. oval Pink Sapphire from Sri Lanka. The colour is deep pink; it is very clean; a really fine gem. It measures 6.4 mm. X 5.0 mm. It may have been coconut shell fire low temperature blow heated which is the traditional way in Sri Lanka of removing impurities during processing of gem material. It does not alter colour. I do not consider it a heat treatment. Green sourced gem.
