An exceptional rich Pink Sapphire.
This is an exceptional 100% natural, unheated, untreated cushion cut Sri Lankan Pink Sapphire weighing 1.50 ct. and measuring 7.2 mm. X 5.4 mm. The colour is beautiful rich pink. It is very difficult to find an untreated Pink Sapphire of this high quality. I do not believe this gem has even been coconut shell fire low temperature blow heated which is the traditional way in Sri Lanka of removing impurities during processing of gem material. This process does not alter colour and I do not consider it a heat treatment. Green sourced gem.
