Metallurgical Coal is a low ash, low sulfur bituminous coal that can been converted into coke for use in the steel making process. Metallurgical Coal is commonly referred to as Coking Coal, Met Coal or Met coal. Located Pennsylvania - In Ground -Non Operating - Leased land -(4,000,000 MT) on over 900+ acres valued over $600M - Again owner is very flexible @ discount price. (Price negotiable) Selling Coal Reserves Assets, owned by Deed, free and clear, including Rights to the surface to go and get the coal without any regards to damages. Non-Operating There is 120 +- acres located at the at the expressway interchange of the route 28 expressway that was proposed for a large shopping center but the owners withdrew because of my surface rights. We reported the results for both in the report. This Lower Freeport Seam could be used for Steam Coal. The Upper Freeport Seam is the Met Coal Seam. Typical analysis of this seam would be on Engineering report. - The SGS analysis was performed - Once this coal is mined, it is washed and because of it's chemical composition it can be sold as Met(Metallurgical) Coal. Coal can vary in chemical composition and BTU content, but when it is used to make Coke it is initially called Met Coal. The Met coal is put through the coking process and becomes coke used for steel production. There is a lot of coal outside the acres not touched which is not owner's expertise but a buyer can reap benefits from DD. The chemical composition of coal does not change over a few years, but what does change is the price Again leased land, but when the metallurgical coal reserves were "SEVERED" from the surface, the owner gave a "RIGHT OF WAY TO THE SURFACE TO REMOVE THE COAL, WITHOUT REGARDS TO DAMAGES".
