This gem is stunning. It is very well cut. 100% natural, unheated, and untreated. It is a 1.25 ct. oval Sri Lankan golden Yellow Sapphire measuring 6.6 mm. X 5.6 mm. This gem may have been coconut shell fire low temperature blow heated which is the traditional way in Sri Lanka of removing impurities during processing of gem material. It does not alter colour.
